Smithsonian Air and Space Museum – Protecting People, Property, and the Public During Construction

Join the National Capital Chapter as we tour the Construction Operations taking place at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.

The focus of this meeting will be to understand how employees, the priceless artifacts, and the public are protected during major renovation operations to one of our most recognized national buildings.

The tour will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and a specific meeting location at the Smithsonian NASM is yet to be determined.

Registration is capped so sign up early and only if you know you can attend! Registration will close once the cap is reached or on June 14th, 2019.

Attendees will be responsible for their own PPE (Safety Toe Boots, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Safety Vest, Gloves). No Pictures will be allowed during the tour and all participants will have to sign a waiver.

The National Air and Space Museum is accessible from the Green, Yellow, Blue, Silver, and Orange Line Metro Trains at L’Enfant Plaza. Paid street and garage parking are available in the vicinity of the museum.
