Thomas Trauger ARM, CSP
Loss Control Specialist Nationwide Insurance.
25 years of experience in construction safety as a bilingual (English/Spanish) occupational safety and health professional. Currently, Trauger is a Loss Control Specialist at Nationwide Insurance where he completes loss control surveys and provides ongoing consulting service to a portfolio of accounts in construction. Prior to joining Nationwide, he was a project safety manager at Gilbane Building Company, supporting all safety efforts, including ensuring all contractors follow Gilbane and OSHA safety requirements. Trauger also served as Safety Manager for Winchester Homes, where he managed full program development and implementation of safety program for the large home building company, which included implementing comprehensive safety program for employees and contractors including subcontractor safety. He has a B.S. Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, an M.S. in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and holds the designations of Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Trauger has served on the Board of Directors of the Job-Site Safety Institute (JSI) since 2016.
