Fort Belvoir IH/CIH
ATC is seeking an IH or CIH that knows their way around DOEHRS. The position will be a full time post at Fort Belvoir managing IH for facilities throughout the US. We are expecting an October start.
The work will involve planning and scheduling (maybe conducting) IH Baselines, Periodic Surveys, Sampling, and Investigations. ATC has 25 CIHs and over 300 IHs scattered throughout the country. They will do most of the field work under this new position. Scope includes:
- DOEHRS Data Entry and Management
- IH hazard characterization of workplaces (baselines),
- Defining Similar Exposure Groups (SEGs)
- Re-evaluation of existing hazard characterization (periodic),
- Ventilation system evaluations,
- IH Sampling noise assessments
- IH Sampling personal air
- Indoor Air Quality
- Ergonomic Assessments
The selected individual will also provide support and technical expertise, as needed, to additional DLA IH Programs. These may include, for
example, Asbestos Consulting Program, Confined Space Program, Ergonomics Program, Heat Stress Program, Indoor Air Quality Program, Respiratory Protection Program, and Supplied Breathing Air Testing Program.
