“We are seeking a Senior CIH professional who may be interested to work with Booz Allen, and particularly on this project (upon award). The work would be Full Time, On-Site with the Client agency. The agency defines a “Senior Industrial Hygienist” in the following manner:   Master’s degree from an accredited academic institution in IH, public health (IH emphasis), or occupational health; at least 15 years practicing as an IH.   Additional OSH certifications (e.g., CSP, MPH or others) are a plus.The duties for this position/work would include (but not limited to):

  Writing, editing technical materials (program documents, training programs, SOPs, policies, reports and design specifications   Conducting OSH surveys and audits (focus on biomedical research labs and industrial facilities)   Ventilation surveys   Developing personal and area sampling methods for chemical, biological and physical agents   Performing complex indoor air quality and IH assessments   Conducting IH program audits   Evaluating sample results, creating concise technical reportsThe position, as noted, is in the D.C. area, so you would either need to be here already or willing to relocate (assistance possibly provided).
